The first page people see when they visit your online portfolio should encourage them to explore the entire site. Use a text editing program such as OpenOffice or Microsoft Word to write one or two paragraphs that include a brief description of who you are, and what visitors will learn from your site.
When you are done, make sure your spelling, punctuation and grammar have no errors, then click here to prepare content for your About Me page.
Here is an example of welcome page text:
Welcome to my online portfolio. I am a member of the Class of 2020 at James Logan High School in Union City, California. Some of my skills include recording and editing videos. I plan to have a career in multimedia.
Please explore the About Me and Work Samples pages to learn more about who I am, what I can do, and my plans for the future.
